New Installations

From initial concept design to final handover, we can provide a full scope of design services to suit your project needs.

Our team work with architects and building design teams to assess the requirements of new and existing building projects starting with traffic simulation and spatial planning, and developing the design through each stage. Our team can coordinate with other disciplines, providing guidance on issues such as accessibility and fire and evacuation lift provision, culminating in the provision of a detailed specification for the vertical transport scheme.

As stand alone lift project we can offer full design services, working with the building owner or duty holder to determine the needs of their building. Taking the project from the initial planning stage, we can create detailed specifications, tendering to reputable installing contractors and supervise the ongoing works through the installation, before final inspection and handover.

Modernisation

Retain and renew your existing lift through modernisation

Many existing lifts, while reaching the end of their serviceable life, are designed in such a way that they can be modernised to provide continued service for many more years.

Modernisation offers some benefits over full replacement. It can be carried out in stages, meaning that the works can be designed to suit the client’s available budget. Components can be individually selected to ensure the best possible solution is achieved. It can also often require less noisy and dirty works, particularly important where the building remains operational as a residence or office.

There are environmental benefits too, with up to a 50% reduction in embodied carbon over a new lift.

Our tailored surveys can help you assess the general condition of your lift, as well as determining its compliance with current health and safety standards and legislation. We can audit the quality of maintenance being provided by your service contractor and offer options for required improvements, as well as future replacement or modernisation.

For property professionals taking on new properties, we offer short form asset summary and due diligence reports, that can provide an overview of lifts, escalators and other lifting equipment within their new acquisition.

Maintenance Management

Bespoke maintenance contracts and maintenance management for single lifts and large portfolios

Bespoke service contracts can enhance the level of maintenance provide by your maintenance contractor, reducing the number of exclusions and setting minimum performance requirements, to which the contractor must adhere. All of which can result in lower bills and improved reliability across your lifts.

Bulk contracts for larger numbers of lift can reduce cost and provide continuity of service across the entire portfolio.
