David is the Managing Director of Vertical Dynamics and brings almost 30 years of lift experience to the business.

Having started as an apprentice, David qualified as a lift engineer with a well known contractor in Dublin, before going on to complete his MSc in Lift Engineering at the University of Northampton.

He has previously worked for a number of lift consultancies covering various sectors and being involved in all aspects of vertical transportation from design, project management, inspection, and surveys to traffic analysis, simulation and expert witness work.

A member of the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers, David has presented on lift subjects at seminars and exhibitions, as well as appearing on various radio news programmes on topics relating to lifts and vertical transportation. He is a keen advocate of education and training within the industry and delivers CPD sessions for FMs and property managers.
